Do I need prior wine knowledge to take this course?

Yes, this course is designed for those who have completed WSET Level 1 or have basic wine tasting experience. If you’re familiar with how to describe wines and recognise common styles, you’re ready.

Is there an official exam?

No. Instead of a traditional exam, we use a casino-style wine game to review your knowledge in a fun, engaging and educational way.

Do I receive a certificate at the end?

Yes. All participants receive a Certificate of Participation issued by Plansel International Wine School.

What’s included in the course?

You’ll receive:

14 wines (one from each Portuguese region)
Printed and digital learning materials

At Quinta da Plansel, located in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal — surrounded by vineyards and the perfect place to learn and taste.
